Thematic Sketching/Drawing Class  (Animals 2)

Student-oriented drawing class which means the learning is based on the students interests and ideas to develop their knowledge and skills in art, so that the learning could be highly motivated and interesting to the students. 

Medium of drawing: pencil colours, oil pastels and watercolours, depending on the student’s’ interests.

Comic /Manga Class (Character Drawing 01)

After watching anime and video games, do you know how these characters being drawn? Have you ever thought about drawing your own characters, but don’t know how to start?

This course helps you to understand how to hand-draw comic characters. Starting from observation and copying to body proportions, various postures and action structures, and the use of tools. Let's create interesting characters together and make your works into life! From basics to proficiency; interest can also turn into expertise.

Instructor: Mr. Nelson Dai has been studying western paintings since childhood.

He is a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong where he minored in

Fine Arts. He was a school teacher in Hong Kong teaching visual arts for over 20 years. Now living in London, he continues to work as an educator and is the Head of Art in a UK High School.

主題素描/繪畫班 (動物篇 2）

主題繪畫班

以學生為本的繪畫課，即根據學生的興趣和想法，來培養學生的美術知識和技巧，以提升學生的學習趣味和投入感。

繪畫媒介；木顏色、油粉彩和水彩，視乎同學興趣。

主題素描班

學習素描原理、視覺訓練和技巧學習。掌握基本素描技巧後將對日後繪畫或藝術創作大有幫助。課程適合兒童及成人參加。

導師：Nelson Dai香港中文大學副修藝術系畢業，自小學習西洋繪畫，前香港華仁書院教師，有多年美術科任教經驗，業餘從事繪畫創作，現居倫敦，從事教育工作，現職英國中學的美術科主任。

漫畫創作班 (角色繪畫 01) (1-3月課程)

動漫、電玩，看得多，當中的人物如何繪畫而成?有否想過畫出自己的角色人物，卻不知如何下手？

本課程讓同學認識手繪漫畫人物，從觀察、臨摹到形體比例、各種姿態和動作結構，與及工具的運用，一起來創造有趣的角色，把生命注入你的作品吧！從基礎到精通；興趣也能變專長。

1. Pencils (H, HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B)

2 Colour pencils for those want to explore more

3. Eraser (good quality, recommend Radar plastic eraser)

4. A4 Sketch Book (paper weight not less than 160 gsm, coil / spiral bound)

動物繪畫班

Drawing Class Materials:

1. A4 Sketch Book (recommended paper weight not less than 200 gsm, coil / spiral bound)

2. HB Pencil

3. Eraser (good quality, recommend Radar plastic erase)

4. Colour Pencils (24 Colours)

5. ⁠Water Colours (12 colours) or Water Colours Tablet (12 colour blocks)

6. ⁠A Plastic Cup as water container

7. ⁠Colour Plate

8. ⁠At least 3 Brushes with different sizes (size number: 3, 6 and 9)

9. Oil Pastels (24 colours)

(Both Water Colours and Oil Pastels are not a must but depends on the student’s preference)

漫畫創作班

Manga Class Materials:

1. HB Pencils

2. ⁠Eraser (good quality, recommend Radar plastic eraser)

3. ⁠A4 Sketch Book (paper weight not less than 160 gsm, coil / spiral bound)

4. ⁠Fineliner Pen (at least have 0.5mm, but can have more other sizes like 0.1 mm, 0.3mm and 0.8mm)

5. ⁠Black Brush Pen

6. ⁠Ruler (30cm long preferred)

Ticket policy:

1) The class consists of 10 lessons and the fee of each lesson is £12. All payment is non-refundable. 

2) Any absences will not be refunded. 

3) Due to venue issues or instructors' sick leave, any cancelled lessons will be fully refunded.
